
Elgin, Ill. – Signing two of the top recruits in the Northwest Chicago area, Judson interim women's soccer coach Diego Cevallos has announced that Megan Hamm and Ashley Williams will be playing their collegiate careers at Judson University. Both Hamm and Williams come to Judson from Huntley High School.
Both Hamm and Williams have helped to build a strong Huntley High School team that is in the midst of their best-season ever. Both players are four-year starters and helped Huntley to their first-ever regional championship last year. Huntley is only in the fifth year of girl's soccer and is currently 18-1 on the season after winning the Fox Valley Conference Fox Division Championship.

Following fellow teammate Hamm to Judson is Williams. Williams is also a four-year varsity starter and was the teams 2006 "Offensive Player of the Year." In her sophomore season, she was given two player of the week awards as she was the Star 105.5 "Athlete of the Week" and the Northwest Herald "Player of the Week." She has also been named to the Fox Valley All-Conference team. In club soccer, she was helped her team to the 2006 US Club Regional Championship. On a U15 team in 2004, she played on the 3-vs.-3 team that was the national champions and then was on the U16 3-vs.-3 semi-finalists team in 2005.
Huntley won the Fox Valley Conference Fox Division Championship out right this season with a 9-1 record and finished the regular season at 18-1 as they fell in their final regular season match after an 18-0 start. This is the second season in a row that they won the conference championship as they were co-champions last season. Huntley also won the Huntley Invitational and the Rockford Harlem Invitational this season. Last season, Huntley won their first-ever Regional Championship and recorded 17 shut outs in the season.
