SHAWNEE, Okl. - - - The Judson Track & Field team is set for the 2017 NCCAA National Championship meet that takes place between May 11-13 in Shawnee, Oklahoma. The Eagles will send nine athletes to compete in various track and field events that included seven from the men's team and two from the women's team. 


Dan Becker (SO/Sheboygan, WI) leads the way in the field events after capturing his third CCAC pole vault title last weekend. Other qualifying field athletes include record holder in the Hammer throw, Andrew Allen (SO/Milford, IL), who will also compete in the Discus, and Jon Sanders (JR/Carol Stream, IL) in the Javelin. On the track, Robert Bruns (JR/St. Joseph, MO) will compete in the 3,000m steeplecahse and 5,000m run, Jordy Arriaga (SR/Prospect Heights, IL) competes in the 1,500m run, Joseph Sipiorski (SO/Algonquin, IL) in the 800m run, and Ben Simpson (FR/Winslow, IL) will compete in the Decathlon.


On the women's side, Jennifer Donnell (JR/Schaumburg, IL) looks to capture All-American status again in the Shot Put and Discus while teammate Chloe Burkhart (FR/Elgin, IL) is set to compete in the 5,000m run.
