ELGIN, Ill. - - - It may have been an away game in the book, but the Eagles looked right at home Saturday afternoon with a double-header sweep of Trinity International University. The home atmosphere and crowd powered Judson to produce three late inning home runs that produced a 2-1 win in eight innings and a 5-2 win with two outs in the seventh for the Eagles' fourth sweep in CCAC action.

Skye Osborne (FR/Romeoville, IL) kept the hot bat producing a home run in each game. Osborne's first home run came in the top of the eighth inning with a deep shot to right center to put Judson up 2-1 in extras. The Eagles' freshman finished game one going 2-for-4 with a run scored and the winning RBI. The complete game pitching performance from Elizabeth Walker (SR/Olney, IL) sealed the deal as she went eight complete allowing just five hits and one unearned run while striking out seven.

Judson used the momentum going into game two as they fought TIU through another close one run game. Judson would take a 1-0 lead into the sixth but an error and two unearned runs gave the Trojans a 2-1 lead heading to the seventh. The Eagles found themselves down to their last out as Diamond Owens (SO/Oswego, IL) stepped to the plate. The two out rally was started by Owens and followed by another base hit from Stefanie Stefancic. This time it was Mary Emington (SR/Cadillac, MI) who played the hero late in game two giving Judson the 4-2 lead with a two out, three run home run blast over the right center field wall. To cap things off, Osborne would go deep again for her second home run with a back-to-back shot for the 5-2 lead and eventual 5-2 win. Lauren Herlihy (FR/Frankfort, IL) got her complete game start as great back-to-back pitching performances kept TIU scoreless in the late innings. Herlihy finished allowing three hits and two unearned runs while picking up her ninth win of the season.

The comeback kids are now 25-10 overall and 10-4 in CCAC conference action. The Eagles be back at home to take on Cardinal Stritch University on Wednesday, April 19th with first pitch set for 4:00pm(CT).
