AURORA, Ill. - - -  The Judson University men's tennis traveled down to Aurora, Illinois today to face off against the Spartans of Aurora University. The Eagles jumped out to 3-0 leads after the doubles with wins at all three spots by John Mittvick & Elisha HouglandErik Jorsal & Joshua Gronowski and Carlos Clerins & Riley Rowan.


As the singles matches started, the Eagles were proving to be the stronger team as they won all of the singles matches in straight sets. The Spartans played well, but the Eagles were dominating all the matches. Winners at singles were John MittvickElisha HouglandErik JorsalCarlos ClerinsRiley Rowan, and Joshua Gronowski.


The Eagles have improved their record to 20-4, which is the first time the Eagles have had a 20 win season. The Eagles finished last season with a 19-9 record and an appearance at the NCCAA National Championships. The men's and women's teams travel to Indiana tomorrow to face off against Purdue Northwest at Dowling Park Complex in Hammond.
