ELGIN, Ill. - - - Two stellar performances helped the Eagles' softball team open at home to a pair of CCAC Conference wins against Roosevelt University Tuesday afternoon. Judson opened the twin bill with a convincing 7-2 win and ended the day with a walk-off 4-3 win to improve to 17-6 overall and 2-0 in opening CCAC action.

In game one, Friedlund went a perfect 3-for-3 at the plate totaling a single, double, and home run. Just one hit shy of the cycle, Friedlund was responsible for two runs and two RBI's in the 7-2 win and finished the day with two walks in game two. Osborne may be a newcomer to the team, but looked like poised veteran finishing the day going 4-for-5 with two doubles, a triple, and a game winning hit that scored Mary Emington (SR/Cadillac, MI) for a 4-3 win to sweep the Lakers. The two accounted for seven of the Eagles' total 14 hits including five extra base hits, four runs scored, and four RBI's. Other notables included Lauren King (SR/Elgin, IL), Stephanie Stefancic (JR/Wilmington, IL), and Ashley Quinlan (SR/Oak Lawn, Ill.).

Walker improves to 12-5 overall while Herlihy stays at 5-1 overall on the season.
