ELGIN, Ill. - - - The Eagles wrapped up a successful indoor season as two women concluded top finishes at the NAIA Indoor National Championships. The women's team finished 32nd overall which marks the highest national finish in program history. Anali Cisneros (FR/Elgin, IL) was the headline as only the program's second All-American with her 2nd place finish in the 3,000m Race Walk. Jennifer Donnell (JR/Schaumburg, IL) was Judson's second NAIA Indoor qualifier and finished 20th overall in the women's shot put.
Top performances on the men's side came during the inaugural CCAC Indoor Championships in which Dan Becker (SO/Sheboygan, WI) won the men's pole vault clearing 4.27m. The quartet of Caleb Fletcher (JR/Lake Fenton, MI), Jordy Arriaga (SR/Prospect Heights, IL), Joseph Sipiorski (SO/Algonquin, IL), and Dietrich Heiss (JR/Beloit, WI) finished 2nd overall marking the best finish and best time in program history of 8:09.66 breaking the 8:10 barrier for the 4 x 800m relay. All athletes earned All-Conference honors for their finishes.
Overall the Eagles finished with three new school records on the women's side and the men finished setting seven new school records. The Eagles open the 2017 Outdoor Season on April 1st at the Ted Haydon Invitational hosted by the University of Chicago.
