ELGIN, Ill. - - - The National Association for Intercollegiate Athletics is set for the 2017 Indoor Championships that will take place between March 2-4. The women's track & field team will have two participants that include race walk qualifier Anali Cisneros (FR/Elgin, IL) and shot put qualifier Jennifer Donnell (JR/Schaumburg, IL). The two will participate in the 39th annual women's indoor championships with Cisneros competing on Friday, March 3rd and Donnell competing on Saturday, March 4th.

Anali Cisneros is taking the nation by storm as a NAIA national qualifier in her freshman year at Judson. Cisneros hit the 'A' Standard in her first collegiate competition in the 3,000K race walk and more recently won the race walk at the inaugural CCAC indoor championship. Her qualifying performance was her second best of the season with a 2nd place finish and time of 14:39.59, while the first place performance at the CCAC indoor championships shaved 10 seconds off her previous time coming in at 14:29.04. Currently, Cisneros is ranked No.2 in the nation for the women's 3,000k race walk and will be looking to make more headlines at the 2017 championships.

From the track to the field, Jennifer Donnell has been Judson's top thrower having qualified in both the indoor and outdoor 2016 NAIA championships for shot put, and hitting the 'B' Standard for the 2017 indoor championships in her first meet of the season as well. Donnell hit a mark of 13.08m in the Titan First Chance meet and finished first overall in the shot put for that meet. Other top finishes include a 2nd place finish at the Karl Schlender Invite and a 5th place finish at the CCAC indoor championships. Currently, Donnell is ranked No.27 on the performance list in the women's shot put trials. For the shot put, the first nine finishers in the trials will move onto the finals.
