BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - - - The women's indoor track and field season opened last Saturday as they traveled to Bloomington, Ill., to compete in the Titan First Chance meet hosted by Illinois Wesleyan. No team scores were kept in the first meet of the season but that did not stop one Eagle from picking up where she left off last season.

Jennifer Donnell (JR/Schaumburg, IL) continues to be the Eagles top thrower and after qualifying for both the 2016 indoor and outdoor NAIA nationals, Donnell did not miss a beat qualifying for the 2017 NAIA Indoor Nationals in the first meet of the season. Donnell hit the NAIA Indoor "B" standard with a qualifying mark of 13.08m (42' 11"). The high note of the meet was capped off by Donnell finishing first in women's shot put.

Judson will be off until after the holidays and return to action on January 14th at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater Karl Schlender Invitational.
