PIKEVILLE, Ken.  - - - The men's bowling team entered into their second tournament of the year and produced another great team finish. Judson placed 19th of 31 varsity teams in the two day tournament with two top 60 individual performances.

In just their second tournament of the inaugural season, the men's bowling team continues to post great team and individual finishes. Lowell Lynde IV (FR/Elgin, IL) finished 24th overall with a series score of 987 and average of 197 for five games. Tyler Zink (FR/Miamisburg, OH) was the other top finisher for the Eagles finishing 58th overall with a series score of 901 for a 180 average. The two Eagles finished top 60 out of a field of 333 bowlers.

The team had to face their toughest lane conditions to date. Judson bowled a 1-to-1, 48 ft. sport shot pattern that challenge the Eagles throughout the tournament. Coach Valiente said, "Overall, they did not do that bad. Definitely lots of practice to do, but for being the first time bowling this kind of [lane] condition and how they handled themselves, they did very well. It was a good learning experience."

Both the men's and women's team will compete next at the West Michigan Laker Intercollegiate tournament on October 22nd in Grandville, Mich.
