MADISON, Wis. - - - The men's bowling team rolled their way to another top finish this season after placing 11th overall at the Ebonite Warhawk Open in Madison Wisconsin last weekend.

The Eagles competed in a two day tournament with 24 other varsity teams and averaged a score of 185. A couple of rough games cost Judson making the eight team cut to match play, but the team finished the tournament with calm demeanor to the 11th place finish. Coach Valiente added,      "They worked and communicated much better as a team and never gave up. Hard to believe this is a team with six freshmen with little experience coming into their first season. We continue to grow as a team and have a bright future in the upcoming years."

Individually, Brandon Salazar (FR/Channation, IL) finished 32nd overall out of over 200 bowlers. Salazar's series score through six games totaled 1196 for a 199.3 average. The score marked Salazar's highest set of the season. Derek Poole (FR/Rockford, IL) and David Ritchie (FR/Elgin, IL) also put in great individual performances and finished in the top 25 percent of the field.

The team enters into a long winter break and will return to action on January 14th at the Roto Grip Eagles Baker Challenge in Zion, Ill.
