ELGIN, Ill. - - - Andrew Eck (SR/Belvidere, IL) becomes the 28th player in Men's Basketball history to reach the 1,000 career points milestone. Eck accomplished the feat against Lincoln Christian University last Saturday afternoon.

Eck reached the 1,000 point mark with a 15 point performance that helped the Eagles to a 88-51 win and a 3-0 start to the season. Dewayne Robinson was the last Eagle in 2009 to top the list with 1,801 points and now Eck enters the elite group marking the first Eagle to do so in seven years.

Just three games into the season, Eck will look to climb the rankings having totaled 1,017 points thus far. The 1,017 point mark is good for 28th all-time and only 12 points behind No.27 Chris Oates (04-08). Eck has the hot hand already shooting 88 percent from the field and 75 percent from 3-point range. He is averaging 4.7 rebounds per game and 14 points per game.
