ELGIN, Ill.  - - - Jordy Arriaga (SR/Prospect Heights, IL) finished the CCAC conference meet in stride as he hit qualifying marks for the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics Cross Country Championship with his 18th place finish in the conference championship meet. Qualification included two criteria; a top 20 individual finish and the top six runners not on a national automatic or at-large bid team. Arriaga has led the Eagles this season to numerous top finishes that included a fourth place finish at the conference meet. Judson has finished in the top 10 of five races this Fall and Arriaga has finished in the top 30 of every race this season.

The two CCAC teams include Olivet Nazarene (IL) and St. Francis (IL). Representing the CCAC as individual runners include Arriaga (Judson), Daniel Garcia (Cardinal Stritch), Jonathan Kimutai (Cardinal Stritch), Abel Hernandez (St. Xavier), Salavador Cordova (Purdue-Northwest), and CodyVelthuizen (Trinity Christian).

Arriaga also represents the seventh Judson Eagle to individually qualify for the NAIA National Championship. The last to do so was Nate Nevius in 2012.
