ELGIN, Ill. - - - Judson was in a locked battle as they faced the second place Cardinal Stritch Wolves in continued conference action Wednesday afternoon on Dawson Field. The Eagles produced great opportunities throughout the match but would fall 2-0.

After evening their season record at 6-6-2, the Eagles drop below .500 again with the loss to CSU. The Eagles still sit in the middle of the CCAC totaling a record of 6-7-2 and 4-5-0 in conference. The Wolves tallied their seventh win in conference and found their eighth win overall improving to 8-4-3 and 7-2-1 in conference after the 2-0 win. Judson is fighting to stay in contention for the play-off race as they sit as the eighth and last team in. The Eagles have three games left in the season and look to take all three in order to make the cut for the CCAC tournament.

The match was fast paced and both teams battled for early position. Cardinal Stritch had the offensive push in the first half with the go-ahead goal in the 19th minute. CSU capitalized of a corner kick that was rebounded back into the goal barely crossing the line for the 1-0 lead. Judson played catch up the entire match and produced great opportunities tallying 16 shots with nine on goal. Credit to the Cardinal Stritch goalkeeper who shut down the Eagles' chances to retain the lead late into the game.

The Wolves would put up one more goal in the 87th minute and it was the dagger that put away the 2-0 win. The Eagles ran out of time and out of answers against one of the top CCAC conference teams and will look to rebound on Saturday.

Judson will travel to Toyota Park on Saturday, October 22nd as they face another tough CCAC match-up in Roosevelt University. Kick-off is set for 2:30pm.
