ELGIN, Ill. - - - The women's soccer team was back on home turf as they took on Trinity International University (IL) in CCAC conference action Tuesday afternoon. The first half of the match was all that was needed as TIU took a 2-0 early for the eventual win.

Judson (3-7-1, 0-6-1 CCAC) faced a middle of the pack Trinity International (4-7-0, 3-2-0) conference team Tuesday afternoon in a game the Eagles were hoping to take over early in the contest. The Trojans had different plans as TIU was the first to strike in the seventh minute for the 1-0 lead. JU got two good opportunities in the first half with a counter strike that hit off the cross bar, and another offensive push that resulted in the soccer ball again hitting off the post to be cleared by the TIU defense. The two shots would result in the only two shots the Eagles would get on goal.

Trinity International would keep the pressure on in the second half finding quality through balls that had the Judson defensive working hard through the final 45 minutes. The Eagles would not be able to mount any offensive threat and would drop their sixth conference game 2-0.

Still looking for their first win in conference, the Eagles will be back in action for SENIOR DAY on Saturday, October 8th against Purdue-Northwest. Kick-off is set for 12:00pm.
