MARION, Ind.  - - - The women's soccer team traveled to Indiana Monday evening as they took on the Wildcats from Indiana Wesleyan University in non-conference action. Judson was looking to bounce back from a 1-0 OT loss against UI-Springfield and faced a tough IWU team that out-shot and out-scored the Eagles 6-0.

Judson, now 3-2-0 overall, only got one shot off and the defense got another workout as the Wildcats total more than 15 shots in each period. It took Indiana Wesleyan till the 39th minute to find a 1-0 lead, but the goal opened the door for IWU as they scored right before the half for a 2-0 lead and would go on to score four more in the second half for the eventual 6-0 win.

Mariana Salas (SR/San Jose, Costa Rica) totaled another high 13 save game having faced 19 shots on goal, while IWU used two goalkeepers that totaled zero saves on zero shots for the combined shutout. The Wildcats' Tia Sanford scored three consecutive goals for the hat trick.

Judson now enters into CCAC conference action as they will face Trinity Christian College at home on September 17th starting at 12:00pm.
