ELGIN, Ill. -- The 2016 post season is still alive and well for the Judson softball team as they received the automatic bid to the NCCAA Softball World Series after concluding the CCAC conference tournament with two wins and two losses. Judson concluded a 30-18 regular season record and now sit at 32-20 heading into contiuned post-season action.

 

As released at the conclusion of the CCAC tournament was the 2016 All-Conference selections and All-Tournament team in which the Eagles received three selections. 

CCAC 1st team All-Conference:

#10 Brianna Tennyson (SR/Pleasant Prairie, WI)

#35 Murielle Vansach (SR/Chicago, Ill.)

CCAC 2nd team All-Conference:

#11 Maddie Smith (SR/Mishawaka, IN)

CCAC All-Tournament Team Selections:

#10 Brianna Tennyson

#11 Maddie Smith

 

Now heading into the NCCAA Softball World Series, the Eagles have been honored with six different All-Region awards for the North Central Region including Pitcher of the Year and Coach of the Year.

NCCAA All-Region Softball Team:

OF - #35 Murielle Vansach

P/OF - #10 Brianna Tennyson

C - #11 Maddie Smith

DP - #33 Lauren King (JR/Elgin, Ill.)

NCCAA All-Region Pitcher of the Year:

#10 Brianna Tennyson

NCCAA All-Region Coach of the Year:

Head Coach Venus Taylor
