Elgin, Ill. – Day two of the NCCAA North Central Regional went to Bethel College as they finished the tournament undefeated with a 3-0 record while Olivet Nazarene left at 2-1. BC defeated Judson, 10-2, and ONU came away with an 11-5 win over Greenville College.

Judson hung with the #1 team in the nation for four innings before BC unleashed for six runs in the fifth inning to win, 10-2. BC got went ahead 3-0 in the bottom of the first inning on an error by Judson and a two-run home run.
 

Judson cut into BC's three-run lead in the top of the second inning when Debra Leganski scored on Amy Meier's groundout. BC added a run in the bottom of the third inning to make it 4-1 but again Judson did not go away. JU score their second run on a Leganksi single that brought home Nicole Dimiceli. BC then ended the game in the fifth inning when JU gave up six runs.

Lizzy Jacobson took the loss pitching 4.1 innings. Judson had four hits in the game as Leganski went 2-of-2 with one RBI and one run scored.

Olivet Nazarene 11, Greenville College 5
Greenville College took a 4-0 lead in the top of the first inning and then let the game slip away as ONU scored in all six innings for the win. ONU scored one run in the first and second innings to make it 4-2 and then took the lead in the bottom of the third with three runs for a 5-4 advantage.
 

Three more runs in the fourth inning made it 8-4 but GC scored one in the top of the fifth to cut the lead to three. ONU responded with two runs in the bottom of the inning and then added one more in the sixth for the six run lead.

Chessum received the win as she came in relief for Koverman. ONU's Koverman started the game and went two innings before Chessum finished the final five recording six strikeouts and her 21st win of the year. Grimes led ONU with a 3-of-4 performance and two runs scored. Baker, Gidcumb, Meyerhoff, and Duffy each had two RBI. For GC, Davison was 1-of-1 with two RBI and Murphy and O'Hara each had a RBI.
