CHICAGO, Ill. – The quick start from Roosevelt Wednesday night had the Eagles on their heals for forty minutes as Roosevelt would go to score 40+ points in each half for a 88-70 win over Judson.


The Roosevelt Lakers (8-11, 4-7 CCAC) went right at the Eagles from the opening tip-off. Roosevelt went 5-for-7 from the field in just over three minutes of play to build an 11-2 lead over Judson. The Eagles did remain calm managing the offensive outburst and climbing back to within 17-15 at the 12:53 mark.


Judson (8-11, 2-8 CCAC) would struggle to find any rhythm shooting 34.8 percent from the field and 29.6 percent from 3-point range.


Andrew Eck (JR/Belvidere, IL) and Illya Galloway (JR/Lansing, IL) stepped up as the go-to players as Eck finished with 15 points, 5 rebounds and Galloway found 13 points, 11 rebounds for his fourth double-double of the season. The duo combined 7-for-12 from the field in the first half but would still be down 48-34 at the half.


Roosevelt never gave up the lead the entire game finding their largest 26-point lead at the 11:55 mark of the second half.


Roosevelt's Priebe and Ludwig each found 20+ points and the team shot 53.4 percent from the field.




Judson comes back to the Lindner Fitness Center to take on Purdue North Central in CCAC action. Game will take place on Saturday, January 16th at 3:00pm.
