Eric Wessel (JR/Dekalb, IL) finished competition at the 2015 NCCAA Men's Golf Championships Tuesday at the Hombre Golf Course in Panama City Beach, Florida.  Wessel wrapped up the season playing the difficult course shooting an 81 in round one and an 83 in round. He shot a total 164 for the two days. Wessel missed the 25 man cut-off to advance to round three by 5-strokes as players needed to shoot a 159 or better. Despite not moving into the final day, Eric finished T-35th out of 66 golfers. "Eric did and awesome job of keeping his composure and making the most of this experience," said head coach Ryan Geu. "I was extremely proud of him and look forward to heading down to Panama City Beach for a run at the NCCAA Championships next year."

Wessel was the first golfer in Judson program history to qualify for the NCCAA Championship. Along with the milestone accomplishment he also received the North Central Regional Player of the Year after his first place finish in the NCCAA Regionals. Be looking for Wessel to break more records and make even more headlines next year as he will be back for his senior year in 2016.
