Marion, IN (Monday, Sept.  14th) Indiana Wesleyan University Invite –

The men's golf team had a quick turnaround as they traveled to Indiana Wesleyan on Monday morning after a two-day tournament in West Dundee. The Eagles had a great opening to the season and looked to continue success on the course in the two day IWU invite.

Judson hit their first rough patch this season finishing 14th out of 14 teams. The challenge of a new course for all golfers prooved a "home field" advantage for the remaining teams. Overall Judson totaled a team score of 332 and 334 in round one and two. Eric Wessel was once again the leader for the Eagles shooting a 75 in rounds one and two. Wessel beat his overall finish from the Tim Kopka Tournament to finish T-6th at the IWU invite.

The Eagles will look to get back to more familiar territory as they compete next at the NCCAA North Central Regional tournament in Lockport, IL. The two day tournament will take place on September 25th and 26th starting at 1:00pm and 11:00am accordingly.
