Terre Haute, IN (March 28-29) Hulman Links G.C. -     The Judson University Men's Golf team opened at the Rose-Hulman Invitational hosted by Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. The weekend marked the opening of the spring season as the previous weekend was cancelled due to weather. The Eagles finished 9th as a team with a combined score of 698 after two days. 

 

Eric Wessel (SO/Dekalb, IL) led the way for the Eagles as he finished T-20th with a combined two day score of 161. The Hulman Links golf course is a par 72, 6775 yds. and Wessel shot his best game in day one. Wessel finished day one T-7th going just +4 over par. Day two did not treat him as well as he dropped T-20th shooting +13 in the final day. Zach Hicks finished T-45th, shooting +28 over and Austin Miller (FR/Rossville, IN) finished T-53rd, +33 over par. Cody Phalen (FR/Mendota, IL) and Andrew Eckerley (FR/Wabash, IN) finished T-63rd and T-65th respectively and Noah Shannon (FR/Alpha, IL) did not post a score in day two.

 

Judson will be back in action on April 9th as they compete at the Balmoral Woods Country Club in Crete, IL hosted by Olivet Nazarene University.
