Chicago, Ill. - Winning their fifth and sixth in a row, the Judson University baseball team (7-13/4-2) swept their second CCAC series in a row with 8-7 and 12--6 wins over Illinois Tech.  Judson has now won their last four in CCAC play.
 
Zach Scipione led Judson in hitting by going 4-of-9 on the day with two RBI.  Rafael Tejada hit Judson's first home run  of the year in the second game and had three RBI on the day.
Game 1
Judson 8, IIT 7
Judson scored six runs in the top of the seventh inning to come from behind for the win.  Down 7-2, JU put up Judson put together their best inning for the win. 
 
Scipione went 3-of-4 in the game and Bret Ehrlich was 2-of-4.  Kyle Kobernus went the distance and recorded seven strikeouts.
 
Game 2
Judson 12, IIT 6
Taking command in game two, Judson jumped out to a 7-0 lead before IIT scored three runs in the fifth inning.  JU responded with five runs in the top of the seventh after IIT had cut the lead to three in the bottom of the sixth.
 
In the fourth inning, Tejada hit Judson's first home run of the season as he picked up three RBI.  He finished the day 2-of-4. 
 
Roger Lugo also went 2-of-4.  Scipione had two RBI with a single in the seventh and Kevin Fischer and Oscar DePablos each added a RBI.  Alci Gonzales pitched six innings and recorded eight strikeouts.  DePablos pitched the final inning and had one strkeout.
 
Judson will host Cardinal Stritch at 12 p.m. on Saturday in CCAC play at Hoffer Field.
