SOMERS, WI – Over the weekend the men's cross country team took to action in the Lucian Rosa Invite on Saturday, October 11th.  The Dannehl National Cross Country Course proved to be a challenge for the young squad as the Eagles place 16th of 17 teams that competed.

This season has been a great test for this freshman-laden team. The Eagles have gained a lot of valuable experience in competition and seem to have a tight knit group ready to make strides for the program. On Saturday the freshmen rounded out the top five finishers for Judson led by Matt Mallary with a time of 28:25.80 (81st). Following closely behind was three consecutive finishes from Caleb Fletcher (28:40.90, 83rd), Robert Bruns (28:42.70, 84th), and Brian King (28:50.90, 86th). Rounding out the freshmen top five was Cullen Anderson with a time of 29:45.50 (96th). The Eagles overall team score was 429.

The Eagles are looking to take charge in remaining competition. Judson will face a tough challenge in the NAIA Great Lakes-Aquinas meet taking place on October 25th at Riverside Park in Grand Rapids Michigan starting around 11:00am.
