Warrenville, IL – On the site of St. James Farm Forest Preserve the men's cross country team took action in running the College of DuPage Invitational on Friday, September 26th. In the field of 22 teams Judson was in the mix of NCAA DI, NCAA DIII, NJCAA and fellow NAIA competitors. Once again Judson had a strong showing and was lead by the consistent freshman pack.

 

Judson was running against St. Francis, Roosevelt, Trinity and St. Xavier in the Class 4 NAIA division and finished 14th overall with a team score of 357. The top five scorers again were lead by the strong freshman pack in this 8k race. Matthew Mallary finished 53rd with a time of 28:21.72 followed closely by Robert Bruns (65th, 28:41.90), Brian King (67th, 28:50.40), Cullen Anderson (82nd, 29:08.12), and Caleb Fletcher (90th, 29:24.61).  Also scoring for Judson was Jacob Wiese (97th, 29:39.48) and Cyrus French (100th, 29:54.54).

The Eagles run into action again on October 11th when they travel to UW-Parkside in Kenosha to compete in the Lucian Rosa Invitational starting at 10:00am.
