Elgin, IL - Finishing up the Judson University Volleyball Tournament, the Eagles went 1-1 on day two as they picked up a win in match one over Missouri Valley.  Judson is now 3-2 on the year.

Match 1 vs. Missouri Valley

Judson claimed their only win of the day with a 3-1 win over Missouri Valley (30-25, 30-27, 28-30, 30-12) to improve to 3-1 on the year.  JU fell in game three but came back in force in game four for the match win. 

Senior Tiffany Mulder-Lamb (Norwalk, Ohio) led all with 15 kills while seniors Erin Bultinck (Elgin, Ill.) had 13 kills and Kym Gagnon (Flagstaff, Ariz.) recorded 10 kills.  Junior Alesha Flikkema (Delavan, Wisc.) had 10 kills.  Sophomore Debra Leganski (Elgin, Ill.) had 26 digs while freshman Carly Campioni (Crystal Lake, Ill.) assisted 49 assists.

Match 2 vs. Siena Heights

In another five-game match, Judson fell to Siena Heights, 3-2 (30-22, 23-30, 35-33, 27-30, 15-8).  With the loss, JU fell to 3-2 on the early season. Judson won games two and four to force a fifth game only to fall by seven points.

Bultinck killed 19 balls in five games to lead the Eagles with Gagnon adding 12 kills and Mulder-Lamb 10 kills.  Sophomore Danielle Dull (Waupun, Wisc.) had four solo blocks.  Campioni had 44 assists and Leganski recorded 34 digs.

Judson opens up CCAC play on Tuesday, September 4th, when they host Calumet at 7:30 p.m. in the Lindner Fitness Center.
