
Elgin, Ill. – Signing another top player, Judson University volleyball coach Craig Vlietstra announces that Eleanor Walter will play her collegiate volleyball at Judson University. Walter is coming to Judson from Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Walter will help the Eagles in the middle as a blocker and hitter. The 2007 Class 3A All-State First-Team selection helped Hope Christian High School to the 3A District 5 championship and to the Elite Eight in the state tournament. HCHS finished the 2007 season with an 18-3 overall record. She was also named to the 2007 All-District team and was an All-Metro Academic Team member and on the All-District Academic Team.
At HCHS, she is on the yearbook staff and is a member of the National Honor Society. The two-time letter winner also plays club volleyball for Team Tribe Volibol Club under Randy Sakamoto. She is the daughter of Dennis Walter.
Walter is the second signing for Vlietstra as he signed Rachel Whitacre from South Carolina. Vlietstra is entering his second season at Judson as the head coach.
