#3 in NAIA Region VII

Elgin, Ill. - With a 10-6 record, Judson University has been ranked for the first-time, ever, in the NAIA Region VII poll with a #3 rating.  The regional ratings determine who receive a bid to the NAIA Region VII tournament at the end of the season.
 
Last week, Judson was #8 in the poll and was the first-time that they have ever been regionally ranked.  Judson swept #2 St. Xavier University last week to help them move up in the regional poll. 
Six of the 10 teams in the regional poll are from the CCAC with Olivet Nazarene #1 and Robert Morris #2.  JU is #3 followed by St. Xavier at #6, St. Francis #7, and Purdue-North Central at #10.
 
Judson has played six teams that are regionally ranked and holds a 4-3 record in seven games played:
Patten (#7 in region II, defeated 14-7)
Dickinson State (#1 in region III, lost 13-3)
Jamestown College (#3 in region III, lost 5-0)
McKendree College (#2 in region V, defeated 3-2)
St. Xavier (#6 in region VII, defeated 4-1, 9-5)
Indiana-Southeast (#1 in region XII, lost 6-1)
