Judson Men's Lacrosse won the St. Olaf Invitational, beating Bethel College (Minn.) 23-13, and Carleton College (Minn.) 21-7 on April 6, 2013, and host St. Olaf (Minn.) 17-6 on April 7th.

 

Against Bethel College, Junior Taylor Stark (A) scored a career-high eight goals and led the Eagles in scoring. Team Captains Josh Elmore (A) and Jacob Ettelbrick (M) added four goals apiece. Landin Baron (A) and Philip Lindsay (M) each scored three goals.  Senior Captain Jeff Lee (M) added a goal of his own toward the victory.  Lindsay and Elmore each contributed three assists, leading the Eagles in that category. Goalie Blaize Diaz recorded 12 saves in his debut.

 

Carleton was next, and the Eagles did not disappoint.  This time, Elmore led the team in goals and assists, scoring five goals and notching four assists.  Baron had four, while Ettelbrick found the back of the net three times. Senior Tim Casson (A) Lee and Lindsay scored two goals and Jeff Acton (M), Taylor Stark, and Mike Wallace(M) all added one goal. Diaz had a save % of .682, successfully defending the net 15 times.

 

In the game vs. St. Olaf, Stark led the Eagles again with seven goals and two assists.  Elmore and Baron added three goals apiece.  Ettelbrick scored two while Acton and Lindsay each added one.  Diaz continued to defend his cage, with 11 saves, while only allowing six.

The Eagles will face Robert Morris University (Ill.) on Tuesday, April 9th at 5:00p.m. in Bensenville, IL at the Redmond Athletic Complex.
