ST. LOUIS- Judson University Lacrosse (0-1) lost 16-6 in their first game of the 2013 season on Saturday, March 23.  Missouri Baptist (3-5), a conference rival, and 2012 GRLC DII conference leader, maintained control of the contest for the duration of play.


The Eagles found themselves trailing 4-0 with five minutes left in the first quarter.  At the start of the second half, the Spartans were ahead 10-3.  Judson continued to fight, but came up short, allowing 6 more goals in the second half while adding only three.


Josh Elmore led the Eagles, recording a hat trick and scoring half of Judson's goals.  Taylor Stark added a goal and two assists while Tim Casson and Philip Lindsay each scored one goal toward Judson's efforts.  Judson goalie Sam Williamson had 12 saves.


The Eagles are back in action on Saturday, March 30 in Mount Vernon, Iowa where they will face Dordt College at 1pm and Cornell College at 3pm.
