Record breaking DMR team heads to NAIA Championships

Largest group represents program's most successful Indoor season on the track!


Judson University will be well represented at the NAIA Indoor National Track Championships which begin this Thursday, February 28. 


Not only did JU athletes punch their tickets to the Championships with qualifying performances they also set school records in the process.  Alisha Barnaby set hers in the Shot Put.  Sarah Miller, Marilyn McDougall, Gabby Nystrom and Meaghan Gard Ciochon set the new standard in the Distance Medley Relay.  David Mellado broke the school record in the Heptathlon which consists of 7 events over two days.  David also broke school records in two of these events (pole vault and long jump).  The long jump record stood for 43 years!
