NCCAA Indoor Track Championships – Day 2

Mellado and Barnaby came up short on their bids for All – American honors at the just concluded National Christian Colleges Athletic Association Indoor  Championships at Indiana Wesleyan University.  David Mellado finished in 4th place in the seven event Heptathlon.  While Alisha Barnaby finished 4th in the women's shot put.

Another outstanding performance was turned in by the women's Distance Medley Relay (1200m, 400m, 800m, 1600m).  Sarah Miller, Marilyn McDougall, Gabby Nystrom, Meaghan Gard Ciochon qualified for the NAIA Indoor Track Championships with a school record performance.

This year's Championships surpassed any other in NCCAA History as nearly every NCCAA or Fieldhouse record was broken by some of the strongest track programs in the country.  This strong competition brought out the best in Judson University athletes as 13 of the 23 athletes Judson fielded had personal best performances.  There were 5 school records also broken.
