Judson 87, Silver Lake 43- Box

 

Elgin, Ill.- The Judson University Women's Basketball team started their season out right. Under new head coach Kristi Cirone, Judson looked to establish command of the game from the start. Judson had a half-time lead over Silver Lake College 35-23. Going in the second half, Judson finally got into a rhythm out scoring the Lakers 52-20 for a final score of 87-43.

 

Anna Kirchoff, who had a game high 23 points, led the Lady Eagles. Freshman, Rebekah Tabb, played well in her first college game with 7 rebounds, 13 points, and 2 steals. Emily Ragsdale played big in the post with a field goal percentage of 75. She knocked down 12 points, 4 assists, 4 blocked shots, and boarded 9 rebounds helping Judson cruise past the Lady Lakers of Silver Lake College.

 

The Lady Eagles are now 1-0 overall.

 

Judson will play next on October 27th at UW-Green Bay at 2:00 p.m.
