Judson 2, TCC 0- Box
Elgin, Ill.- On the beautiful Wednesday afternoon, the Judson honored 4 seniors for their commitment to the program the past 4 years. Each senior came into Judson in 2009 and have major contributions, helping set a winning foundation for years to come. Being recognized were #3 Kaylee O'Brien, #5 Kristina Barreto, #16 Jenna Schiller, and #27 Lauren Opolony.
After all Senior Day activities were over, the Lady Eagles meant business. The Lady Eagles beat the Trinity Christian Trolls 2-0. The shut out victory was Judson's 11th on the season.
It didn't take long for Judson's leading scorer Angela Bianchi to strike again, because in the 10th minute of play she did just that. Bianchi received cross passes from Jamie Kats and Jenna Steffensen, who then went 1-1 with the goalie coming out on top for the goal. Bianchi's second goal came from a long pass up the middle from senior Kaylee O'Brien. After receiving the pass, Bianchi out ran the defender and netted the second goal in the 36th minute.
That would be all the scoring that Judson would need because Sara Hoffman collected her 11th save of the year. She collected 2 saves helping Judson top Trinity Christian.
Judson is now 14-3 and 8-2 in conference.
The Lady Eagles will play next on October 27th at Holy Cross College at 1:00 p.m EST
