Judson 4, Roosevelt 0- Box

 

Bridgeview, Ill.- In a total team effort, the men's soccer team topped Roosevelt University on a rainy day at Toyota Park. The Eagles had 4 different players netting goals helping sink the conference foe.

 

Judson scored first and never looked back, when Noah Price crossed it to Santiago Munoz in 23rd minute. Then in the 37th minute, Micah Price drove past the defense and scored the unassisted goal. To finish of the scoring in the first half, Gustavo Scorzelli pushed one passed the goal with Daniel Fry and Munoz assisted the play.  Judson finished the day with Guiherme D'Andrea Galego scoring off of the pass from Nicko Makropoulos in the 54th minute of play.

 

Neil Thompson recorded his 2nd shut out of the year. Thompson came up with 3 saves, denying Roosevelt.

 

Judson is now 7-5-3 overall and 4-2-2 in conference.

 

Judson will play next on October 20th in Milwaukee, Wis. vs. Cardinal Stritch University.
