Men's- 2nd place

Women's- 1st place

Sterling.- On Saturday the men's and women's cross-country team had their best finish of the year. The women took 1st, while the men's took 2nd place. 

 

Taking 1st place in the women's race, the Lady Eagles race the 7th fastest team time in program history. 6 of the Judson runners had season best times and 3 runners finished in the top 5. Finishing in 1st place, Meaghan Gard led the Lady Eagles with her time of 19:18. In 3rd Sarah Miller was only 10 seconds behind Gard and only 1 second behind the 2nd place runner.  Coming up right behind Miller, Gabby Nystrom finished 4th with the time of 19:32.  Finishing up for Judson was #17 Tess Tyton 21:24, 24th Alexis Buecheler 21:50, 26th Justine McDowell 22:00, 30th Morgan Kimball 22:12, 43rd Murphy Kurth 23:25 and 67th Tina Milak 27:53.

 

In the men's race, the men took 2nd place finishing only behind College of DuPage. Leading the men was Nate Nevius who finished 4th with his time of 27:45.  Also finishing in the top 15 was Tim Ciochon who finished 15th with the time of 28:50. Coming up next was Charles Sievers with a 22nd 29:35. With Lukazs Kierys solid run of 29:36 helped nail down second place for Judson.  Finishing up for Judson was 28th Mitch Mallary 29:56 and 69th Mason Mellinger 35:22

 

The Eagles will run next on October 20th at the NAIA Great Lakes Invitational at Aquinas College in Grand Rapids, MI at 11:00 a.m.
