Elgin, Ill- The Men's Soccer team finished their game in dramatic fashion winning in overtime over the University of St. Francis. Judson won the game on a Santiago Munoz penalty kick in overtime to put Judson up 3-2. Judson was down 2-0 at one but but came back scoring 3 unanswered goals.

In the game, St. Francis started the scoring with a goal in the 11th and 29th minute goingup 2-0. St. Francis looked like they wouldrun away with the game but Judson knew there was a lot of game to play. To swing some momentum towards the Eagles, Jason Mok kicked a cross-field pass to Walter Lopez who headed in Judson's first goal in the 33rd minute. In the 77th minute, Judson's Guiherme D'Andrea Gallego crossed it into the box to Lopez who attempted to head in the pass. The shot hit the post and on the rebound Santiago Munoz scored tying the game, 2-2.

After finishing regulation tied 2-2 the game went into overtime, and 5 minutes into the period Munoz was taken out by the St. Francis goalie. The take down resulted in a red card which led to a penalty kick. Munoz took the shot and fooled the goalie putting the ball into the bottom left corner.

On the defensive side, Marcus Filgueiras recorded 7 save coming up with his 2nd win on the year.

Judson is now 6-5-3 and 3-2-2 in conference.

Judson will play next on October 17th against Roosevelt University at Toyota Park in Chicago at 7:00 p.m.
