Judson 3, Calumt 1- Box

Schererville, Ind.- On a cool and windy Tuesday afternoon, the Judson University Eagles took on Calumet College.  Coming off a loss to (RV) St. Xavier on Saturday, the Eagles came out ready and fired up to even their record in conference against Calumet.

It didn't take long for Judson to show that they meant business. Only 7 minutes into the game, Danny Hinterlong and Jason Mok teamed up with Walter Lopez, scoring Judson's 1st goal of the game. After Calumet tied the game, the Eagles came back with an answer of their own when Lopez scored again in the 33rd minute of play. The Lopez goal was his second of the game, putting Judson up 2-1. That would be the deciding goal, but in the 62nd minute, Judson added some insurance with Sanitago Munoz scoring off a Hinterlong pass.

Collecting his first win of the year, Marcus Filgueiras helped Judson take the lead only allowing 1 goal.  Filgueiras played 90 minutes and collected 4 save helping the Eagles in the conference victory.

The Eagles are now 5-5-3 overall and 2-2-2 in conference.

Judson will play next on October 13th at Judson at 2:30 against University of St. Francis
