West Allis, Wis.- On Saturday, the men's and women's cross-country teams had their best races of the year. In both the men and the women's races, each team finished 3rd out of 12 and 14 teams.
In the men's race, Nate Nevius ran his way into the top 10, finishing 7th overall with a time of 27:09. Then not too far behind, Tim Ciochon and Zach Eliason finished within the top 25 runners. Ciochon finished 20th with a run of 28:33, and only a few seconds after, Eliason finished 21st running a time of 28:38. Also, helping Judson to their 3rd place finish, Charles Sievers finished 29th with a time of 29:12, and Luke Kierys finished 43rd with a run of 29:39.
On the women's side, the Lady Eagles had four runners finish within the top 25. Leading Judson, Sara Miller had her best run of the year finishing 4th while running 23:18 in the 6k race. Following closely behind, Meaghan Gard finished 5th with her time of 23:18. Finishing it out for Judson was Gabby Nystrom who finished 12th with a time of 24:21, Tess Tyton who finished 23rd with a time of 25:47, and Morgan Kimball finished 32nd with a time of 26:27.
The Eagles will run next on October 13th at Sauk Valley Community College in Dixon, IL.
