Judson 1, Stritch 3- Box

 

Elgin, Ill.-  The Judson volleyball team fought hard against conference rivals, Cardinal Stritch, but fell in four games (25-20, 31-33, 16-25, 16-25). The Lady Eagles never gave up, and went after Cardinal Stritch. It was an even match up with both teams battling back and forth, but Judson just could not pull it out in the end.  

 

In the fight against Cardinal Stritch, Carissa Oelke came up big on offense, producing 20 kills. She also battled hard on defense with 21 digs. Annie Holderman also did well on offense, having 8 kills on the night.  Holderman and Danielle Sladek helped keep Judson in the game producing 6 and 5 kills respectively.

 

The Lady Eagles are now 11-11 on the year and 2-4 in conference.

 

The Lady Eagles will play next on Tuesday, October 2nd at Judson at 7 p.m.
