Elgin, Ill. The Judson women's soccer team got back on track on Wednesday with a big conference win over Illinois Tech. The Lady Eagles came together as a team with 3 different players collecting a goal.  Judson was also tough on defense collecting their 6th shut out of the year.  

 

The scoring started early in the game when, in the 7th minute, Jamie Kats connected with Angela Bianchi for the first goal of the game.  Then in the 21st minute, Bianchi found Jenna Steffensen to put Judson up 2-0 finally two minutes later Jamie Kats scored a goal of her own unassisted.

 

Sara Hoffman led the team with her 6th shutout of the year. Hoffman collected 2 saves on the day, the second came off of a penalty shot with 10 minutes left to play in regulation.

 

The Lady Eagles are now 7-2 overall and 1-1 in conference.

 

The Lady Eagles will play next on September 29th at Robert Morris University at 1 p.m.
