Judson 3, Robert Morris 1- Box

 

Elgin, Ill.- Judson Volleyball came up with a huge conference win over Robert Morris University.  The Lady Eagles won the match in 4 games (25-21, 25-20, 21-25, 25-21) putting them 2-0 in conference.

 

Judson went out to take a commanding 2-0 lead after the first two games. Robert Morris looked to give Judson a run for their money as they came back to win game 3 putting the match at 2-1.  Coach Jill Rokosik rallied her team to step up their game and push ahead in game 4 winning the match.

 

Carissa Oelke came up big for the Lady Eagles with her 12th double-double of the season, finishing the night with 17 kills and 13 digs. Breanna Todd helped the Lady Eagles push past Robert Morris with 13 kills of her own. Providing a lot of defense on the night, Judson produced 12 blocks as a team, with 5 coming from Isadora Borerro and 5 from Danielle Sladek.

 

Judson is now 10-5 overall, and 2-0 in conference

 

Judson will play next on September 14 at Judson University against Mount Mercy at 3:30.
