Elgin, Ill.- The Judson Men's and Women's tennis teams split with Cornerstone University. The men lost 8-1 and the women pushed past to win 5-4.

 

The Judson men struggled in their first meet of the year losing to a tough Cornerstone University. Reilly Good came out with the only Judson point with the #1 singles match beating his opponent 6-3 on default.

 

The Lady Eagles start their season strong with their first win of the year. To get the Lady Eagles rolling, at #1 doubles, Alexa Williams and Marcilynn Rowan pulled through for the win. To wrap up the match, the Lady Eagles won four of the six singles matches.  Alexa Williams took the #1 singles followed by Marcilynn Rowan at #2. Finishing out, #4 Kristen Kress and #5 Marisa Gauss came up with big wins to push Judson to the victory.

 

Judson Men's will play next on September 14 at Quincy University.

The Lady Eagles will play next on September 12 at Judson against Beloit College.
