Judson 3, TIU 0- Box

 

Deerfield, Ill. - Judson Volleyball pulled through in an exciting match up to start off their conference season.  After losing the first two games to Trinity International, the Judson Eagles came together for an exciting victory (21-25, 22-25, 25-18, 25-19, 15-9).

 

For Judson's first conference win of the year, the Lady Eagle came together as a team with 3 players producing double-doubles. Leading the team, Carissa Oelke produced her eighth double-double of the season with 18 kills and 17 digs. Breanna Todd, with her third double-double, added 16 kills and 11 digs. Kirsten Kohlstedt also collected her third double-double with 48 assists and 10 digs. Adding to the mix, Annie Holderman knocked down 14 kills to help Judson overcome TIU.  

 

The Lady Eagles are now 8-2 overall and 1-0 in conference.

 

Judson will play at the Viterbo Tournament in La Crosse, WI on Friday September 7.
