Men's Tennis All-CCAC Team
ELGIN, Ill. – John Mittvick and Reilly Good made more history for the Judson University men's tennis team as they were named All-CCAC. They are the first players to earn All-CCAC awards for Judson in the third year of the program.
Mittvick and Good were named All-CCAC for doubles play and them MIttvick was All-CCAC in singles play. Mittvick went 3-1 in CCAC singles play at #1 with his only loss a three-set match vs. St. Francis and was just one of two freshmen chosen for the top six positions. He defeated Olivet Nazarene's #1 player Juken Kurez who was #25 in the nation at the time.
In doubles play, Mittvick and Good went 3-2 with their two losses to Olivet Nazarene and St. Francis. They were one of three doubles teams chosen for All-CCAC with the other two from Olivet Nazarene and St. Francis.
Judson also had two CCAC Players of the Week this year in Mittvick and Adam Westhauser which were also firsts for the new program.
Judson finished 4-1 in the CCAC and played for both the regular season and tournament championships vs. Olivet Nazarene. Judson ended their year at 11-15 and played in their first-ever NCCAA National Tournament in Mobile, Ala.
