MOBILE, Ala. – For their second match of the day in pool play at the NCCAA National Tournament, Judson faced another challenge in Indiana Wesleyan. This time around, Judson gained two points before Indiana Wesleyan clinched the final match point, 5-2. Judson has one more match in pool play on Wednesday and then will see if they qualify for the semi-finals.
John Mittvick and Reilly Good gave Judson their first point in doubles play at #1. They took the match, 8-3, over Adam Wroughton and Daniel Stoddard. Indiana Wesleyan then took the #2 doubles match, 8-5, and #3 doubles, 8-1.
Gaining Judson's second point was Tyler Adland at #3 singles. He went 6-2, 6-3, over Luke Montgomery to make it 4-2. Indiana Wesleyan took the #1, #4, and the #6 singles matches to finish out the match, 5-2.
Judson will play Roberts Wesleyan on Wednesday, May 9, at 8:30 a.m.
