ELGIN, Ill. – The Judson University men's tennis team was recognized twice in April for their play in the NCCAA with two National Players of the Week. Adam Westhauser and Reilly Good were both NCCAA National Men's Tennis Players of the Week. Below are the articles for both athletes from the NCCAA.
Adam Westhauser (Apr. 2)
Adam Westhauser, junior tennis player for Judson University (IL) had the deciding match point in a 6‐2, 7‐5 tie breaker win in #5 singles for a 5‐4 Judson University win over St. Francis. His #3 doubles team took an 8‐5 win to put Judson up 2‐1 after doubles play. He also cruised to a 6‐0, 6‐1 singles win and 8‐0 doubles win in a conference match over Perdue‐Calumet giving up just one set point and was undefeated on the week.
Reilly Good (Apr. 9)
Reilly Good, sophomore tennis player for Judson University (IL) went 4‐0 on the week in singles and doubles play. He helped Judson University stay perfect in conference play at 4‐0 and will play for the championships vs. Olivet Nazarene University (IL) on Friday. He won his #2 singles match 6‐3, 6‐1 vs. North Central College and won his #1 doubles match 8‐3. He defeated Calumet in #2 singles 6‐0, 6‐0 and at #1 doubles 8‐2.
