MOBILE, Ala. – Opening up the NCCAA Tournament with a tough match, Judson University fell to #18 Campbellsville University in their pool play, 5-0.  Judson is now 10-12 on the year.


Judson battled in the doubles matches but came up short.  John Mittvick and Reilly Good battled Carlos Anton and Pabb Numbela in #1 doubles, 8-5, while Andrew Moment and Tyler Adland fell in #2 doubles, 8-6, to Sebastian Marot and Pontos Blom.  Adam Westhauser and Jesse Perez then were beaten 8-2 in #3 doubles.


Campbellsville only needed two wins in singles play to wrap up the match as Mittvick fell to Anton, 6-0, 6-0, in #1 singles and then Moment lost in #6 singles, 6-1, 6-0, to Alberto Diaz.


Judson will take on Indiana Wesleyan at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday in their second match of pool play.
