WHITING, Ind. – Taking only five minutes to play the suspended game on Friday afternoon, Cameron Balough made quick work as the third batter of the inning singling in Chris Simon from second base to take the 11-10 win in the bottom of the 11thinning over Saint Xavier in the CCAC Tournament.  The game was suspended from Thursday night due to rain and inclement weather.

Jordan Pemble received the win for Judson finishing the final three innings with two strikeouts.  Balough led the team going 4-of-5 with four RBI.  Craig Lipp was 3-of-6 with three RBI.  Judson is now in the CCAC Tournament Championship game vs. St. Francis and has to defeat them twice to win.

Simon and Johnny Amann were both hit by Chris Klein, who came in as the new pitcher on Friday, and then he gave up the game winning hit to Balough ending the game.   Judson had tied the game in the bottom of the ninth on a Balough triple scoring Nick Norris.  Two innings later, and almost 15 hours later, Balough ended the game with his single to right field scoring Chris Simon.

Judson fought their way into the game after being down 9-2.  With a 2-1 lead after the third inning, Saint Xavier posted eight runs in the top of fourth inning for the seven-run advantage.  Judson responded in the fifth inning with five runs to come within one, 8-7, and then Saint Xavier made it 10-7 in the seventh.  Two runs in the eighth and the tying run in the ninth made it 10-10 as the teams went into extra innings.  After 1.1 innings of extra play, the game was suspended due to the weather.  Judson came back on Friday at 3:00 p.m. and won within about five minutes of the restart of the game on Balough's single.
