HANOVER PARK, Ill. – Winning their third match in a row with a 7-2 win over NCAA Division III North Central College, Judson University is now 9-10 on the year. Judson has now defeated three NCAA Division III programs in the spring.
Judson started off the men's tennis match with a 2-1 lead in doubles. John Mittvick and Reilly Good took the #1 doubles match, 8-3, and then Tyler Adland and Andrew Moment won the #2 doubles, 8-4.
The momentum carried over to singles play as Judson won the first three singles matches. Mittvick went 6-4, 6-1 in #1 singles over Wil Exner followed by wins in #2 singles from Good, 6-3, 6-1, vs. Eric McKee and #3 singles by Adland, 3-6, 6-4, 10-3, over Boris Kampez. Adam Westhauser won the #5 singles, 2-6, 6-4, 12-10, while Moment finished out the scoring, 2-6, 7-6 (8-6), 10-8.
Judson will travel to Whiting, Ind., to try and stay perfect in CCAC play on Saturday, April 14th vs. Calumet College.
