CCAC Player of the Week

 

ELGIN, Ill. – Averaging a double-double on the week, Emily Ragsdale was named the CCAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week.  She helped Judson to a 1-1 record and a #4 seed in the CCAC Tournament. 

 

Her biggest game came against Trinity Christian where she had a career-high 16 rebounds to go with 14 points.  She finished shooting 50% from the floor and had five assists in the 10-point win.  In a close, four-point loss to #12 Cardinal Stritch, she posted 10 points and seven rebounds with five blocked shots and three assists.  For the week, she averaged 12.0 points, 11.5 rebounds, 4.0 assists and blocks, and 2.0 steals per game while shooting .480 from the floor.

 

She leads the CCAC in blocks at 2.2 per game and has 72 overall blocks that  is second all-time in a single season at Judson.

 

Judson ended their 2011-12 season on Tuesday, February 21st, with a 72-65 loss to Holy Cross in the first round of the CCAC Tournament.
